Introducing The Care Commitment by TYLENOL®
A $1,000,000 fund to help to help injured athletes on the road to recovery
TYLENOL® is launching a much needed recovery fund to support injured athletes, because TYLENOL® Cares Without Limits. The Care Commitment by TYLENOL® exists to help fund athletes facing painful setbacks as they recover & continue their pursuit of greatness.
As part of the larger Greatness Hurts.™ campaign, The Care Commitment by TYLENOL® recognizes that pursuing greatness hurts. So, TYLENOL® will be there to provide Care Without Limits.
TYLENOL® is committing $1,000,000 in funding over the next three years to help athletes recover from injury and compete once again, starting this year by sponsoring the Women’s Sports Foundation® (WSF®).
Athlete Recovery and Care Commitment Grant
The WSF’s Athlete Recovery and Care Commitment Grant aims to help women athletes overcome pain and recover from setbacks to their career caused by injury, ultimately helping them achieve their career goals. The grant application will re-open later this year and an additional 10 elite women athletes1 will be selected for $10,000 in funding to support their recovery journey after being sidelined by injury.

2024 Athlete Recovery and Care Commitment Grant Winners
In collaboration with WSF, TYLENOL® has selected:
Shakira Austin
Basketball - Fredericksburg, VA
In 2023, Shakira tore the labrum in her right hip during a game and underwent surgery. In June of 2024, Shakira reinjured her right hip and was unable to finish the 2024 season. Shakira is currently working to find a rehab team that can help her recover quickly and return to the court.
Hope Bravo
Trampoline & Tumbling Gymnastics - Dallas, TX
In 2021 and 2024, Hope ruptured her Achilles, leaving her to be unable to drive, walk or train. Hope is currently going through recovery, sharing that it is a longer journey the second time around.
Francesca Corbett
Badminton - Foster City, CA
In 2024, Francesca slipped on the court during a jump due to a sweat puddle that had not been properly mopped and landed on her right hip with her right leg inverted, causing a labral tear in her right hip.
Rachel Dincoff
Track & Field (Discus) - Auburn, IN
In 2023, Rachel had an Achilles rupture and has undergone three surgeries to date. Rachel still continues to undergo physical therapy and training to return the elite competition.
Tori Franklin
Track & Field - Chicago, IL
In 2023, Tori tore her plantar fascia during the Budapest World Championship. Tori’s recovery process consists of rehab and hands-on treatment 3-4x a week.
Isabel Ivey
Swimming - Gainesville, FL
In September 2024, Isabel suffered a tear in her meniscus after her second practice of the day while training breaststroke. She received surgery in October and is almost complete with her physical therapy regimen.
Janee’ Kassanavoid
Track & Field - Lawson, Missouri – Comanche Nation of Oklahoma
Janee struggled with a variety of injuries during her collegiate career that resulted in three surgeries. She again battled injury in 2023, almost marking a season with no personal records – until her very last throw at Worlds, making her second best in the world.
Gabriela Leon
Track & Field - Louisville, Kentucky
Gabriela experienced tearing in her hamstring and tendinosis on both hamstring tendons in 2024. She decided to end her season early to get healthy for the 2025 season.
Sarah Warren
Long Track Speed Skating - Willowbrook, IL
Sarah has had eight surgeries since April 2024 – 7 on her knees and 1 on her ankle. During the 2023 World Cup, she suffered an ankle injury and skated through it to secure a spot for the U.S. in the World Cup A Division. In October 2024, she tore her meniscus, requiring a ninth knee surgery she is currently recovering from.
Jessica Woodard
Track & Field (Shot Put) - Marlton, NJ
Jessica was diagnosed with a high-grade sports hernia and athletic pubalgia in March 2024. This injury is rarely diagnosed in female athletes, and she underwent surgery in September. She is recovering strong and hopes to get back to throwing soon.
1The Athlete Recovery and Care Commitment Grant provides financial support to women athletes facing loss of compensation or extensive, expensive medical bills due to injury. This grant will help elite athletes who have faced painful setbacks, have access to the resources they need to recover as they get back into the game.
